How it works
Fill in the measure-up sheet at the bottom of the page: what you need, the size of each room or deck and where you are. The sheet draws the room with the boards laid in it and works out the square metres, the waste and the skirting. We send the request to flooring suppliers and fitters who work in your area, and they quote you directly. You compare and decide. It costs you nothing.

Getting flooring quotes you can compare
Two quotes for "a wooden floor" can mean very different things. Check that each names the same product, thickness and wear layer or AC rating, the same underlay, the same skirting and trims, the waste allowance, and how the subfloor will be prepared. Ask whether lifting the old floor, levelling the screed and moving furniture are included. For sanding, ask how many coats of sealer and which finish. A low price per square metre that leaves out the preparation is rarely the cheaper floor.
